We want all young people to have access to information and resources on topics and issues that matter to them, so as better to educate themselves and seek support if they need it. The SYM team has compiled a list of organisations (locally & nationally) that offer advice, guidance and support to young people on a host of topics including self-harm, eating disorders, bullying or cyberbullying, mental health, body image, self esteem, LBGTQ+ etc.

We hope that the information below is useful, if you would like us to include an organisation then please email the details to the team at symproject@thecldtrust.org

There are some great nationally recognised resources out there to provide you with the help and support you need on a whole host of different topics...

As well as those listed below, here are some online platforms and activity centres to help you manage through the everyday:

Kooth - is an online counselling and emotional wellbeing platform for children and young people, accessible through mobile, tablet and desktop - all for free!

Therapy Comics - a mental health resource using comics instead of text!

MindEd - an online learning and advice resource for anyone interested in, or concerned about the mental health of children and teenagers.

If you are aged 10 - 26 and need support get in touch with the team now - we are always here to offer help and support if you need it - especially throughout lockdown!
